My turn.

1. I had the pleasure of experiencing The Red Hook Ball Fields Huaraches on Saturday...which reminded me of actual Latin food (yum). Went to Baked in Brooklyn, the cloud cookies are pretty amazing although I could only finish half of it which is a testament to how unbelievably rich they are. But the best part was I met all kinds of wonderful new people and was able to step a little outside my comfort zone which is something I miss doing.

I have never been the type of person to be content just living every day the same with the same people. I like meeting new people, I like trying new things, I detest being mundane. In an effort to open up my social circle - (which now consists of ex-california people living in New York - aside from my coworkers) - and I succeeded.

2. Lazy, lazy Sundays. I have always loved Sundays, they might be my favorite day of the week. there is something about Sunday that allows me to do nothing and not feel bad about it. Any other day of the week if I were to stay in all day I would feel extremely worthless. Sundays are meant to be enjoyed...however I want.

3. Saturday night was unbelievably productive. Aside from all of the friend/politicalness of the night, I was able to slide down a firehouse pole which has been on my list of things to do for about 11 months now. Absolutely worth it.
